Create a system message template
To create an automatic system message template (tenant invitation, candidate invitation, home insurance reminder, etc.), follow these simple steps: Go to the “My Account” section, click on “System Messages” and then on the “New Template” button.
Creating a custom template will replace the default template of the same type provided by Rentila.
For each property, you can only create one template per type of message.
For each template, you can enter the following details:
- The type of message.
- The template name.
- The relevant properties (properties must be created in advance).
- The content.
- The status of the template (Activated/Deactivated).
When customising a template, you can modify the following elements:
- The content, including the template’s text.
- The text format (font, style, etc.).
- The pre-filled tags.
Tags
You have the option to use pre-filled Tags, which are available on the right. Each tag contains specific information from your account, such as the property’s address, the landlord’s or tenant’s name, etc. You can simply drag the tags and position them within the template text at the appropriate location.
Important!
It’s crucial not to delete the dynamic tags or hard-code text in their place. If done, the software won’t be able to replace these elements with dynamic data in the future.
Modify a system message template
If you wish to modify an existing system message template, navigate to the “My Account” section, then “System Messages”. Click on the “Modify” action on the right side of the relevant template, make the necessary changes, and then click on “Save”.
