To create a document template (tenancy agreement, joint guarantee, etc.), follow these simple steps: Go to the “My Documents” section, then click on “My Templates” and finally on the “New Template” button.
When you create a custom template, it will replace the default template of the same type provided by Rentila.
For each property, you can only create one template per type of tenancy contract.
For each template, you can enter the following information:
- The type (Tenancy agreement, joint guarantee, etc.).
- The name of the template.
- The properties concerned (it is necessary to create the properties beforehand).
- The content.
- The status of the template (Activated/Deactivated).
When you customize a template, you have the option to modify the following elements:
- The content, including the text of the template.
- The text format (font, style, etc.).
- The pre-filled tags.
Tags
You have the option to use pre-filled Tags, available on the right. Each tag contains specific information from your account, such as the property address, the name of the landlord or tenant, etc. You can simply drag and drop the tags and place them in the text of the template at the appropriate place.
Important!
It is essential not to delete the dynamic tags and write fixed text in their place. In this case, it will be impossible for the software to replace these elements with dynamic data later.
Good to know!
In case of a shared tenancy with multiple tenants, make sure to use the tags Tenant block start and Tenant block end to frame the information related to each tenant. This way, the template can create a loop and display details of several distinct tenants.
The same process applies to displaying guarantors and generating joint guarantees. The tags Guarantor block start and Guarantor block end must frame the information concerning each guarantor. This way, the template can create a loop and display details of several distinct guarantors.
