Finance, income and expenses

This section is where you keep your accounts, including income, expenses and money received. For every tenancy agreement, the rents and rent receipts are generated in the “Finance” section.

In the “Finance” section, you can do the following:

  • Create an income or an expense,
  • Edit a payment,
  • Record a payment,
  • Download a document (for certain entry types, such as invoices and credit notes),
  • Send a reminder (for certain entry types),
  • Stop a payment (for recurring payments),
  • Regenerate a payment (for recurring payments),
  • Duplicate a payment,
  • Delete a payment.

You can filter the records on criteria such as the landlord, the property, the dates, the type or a keyword.

You can also export your records with the “Export” action at the bottom of the table.

Add an expense

To add an expense, go to the “Finance” section and click “New transaction”, then “Add expense”. For each expense you can enter the property, the type, the date, the payer and the amount, plus the tenancy agreement, the recurrence, the VAT amount, the recoverable amount, a description and the associated documents.

To add an income, go to the “Finance” section and click “New transaction”, then “Add revenue”. For each income you can enter the property, the type, the date, the payer, the amount and the VAT amount, plus the tenancy agreement, a description and the associated documents. Rents and security deposits generate their own documents.
