Tenant candidates

In this section, you can organise your search for tenants and handle the applications you receive.

You can do the following:

  • Invite a candidate.
  • Read a candidate’s application.
  • Change the status of a candidate (shortlist, confirm, reject).
  • Delete a candidate.

You can filter the records by various criteria (landlord, property).

How candidate management works

Here is how candidate management works in Rentila:

  • Using the digital flyer: to advertise your property, you can use the digital flyer attached to it. Put it in your listings or send it straight to interested candidates. Make sure the flyer is set to Public so that it can be viewed.
  • Application form: interested tenants apply by filling in an application form. The form collects the essentials: their address, their employment status, their net income, their guarantors and their supporting documents.
  • Sorting the applications: once the applications are in, you sort them against your own criteria. You can reject, shortlist or confirm each candidate.
  • Transferring confirmed candidates: the candidates you confirm as prospective tenants move automatically to the “Tenants” section, which keeps your letting process in one place.

Rentila saves you time by putting only the candidates who match your criteria in front of you, which makes applications easier to handle and helps you find the right tenants for your properties.
