Create, edit or delete a maintenance job

Create a maintenance job

To add a maintenance job, follow these simple steps: go to the “Maintenance” section, then click “New maintenance”.

For each job, you can enter the following information:

  • The property or building,
  • The tenancy,
  • The type,
  • The subject,
  • The priority,
  • The status,
  • The description,
  • The availability,
  • The start date and the completion date (once the date has passed, the job turns Overdue),
  • The contractor and their email address and phone number,
  • The photos attached,
  • The documents attached.

The contractor, tradesperson or anyone else can be notified as soon as the job is created.

Tenants logged in to Rentila can see maintenance jobs from their own account. They can also raise a job for you.

You and the tenants concerned can add comments and documents to a job in progress.

You can mark the job as closed with the matching action. Once a job is closed, you can re-open it if you need to.

Edit a maintenance job

To edit an existing maintenance job, go to the “Maintenance” section, click the “Edit” action to the right of the job concerned, make your changes, then click “Save”.

Delete a maintenance job

To delete a maintenance job, go to the “Maintenance” section, then click the “Delete” action to the right of the job concerned.

Follow a maintenance job

You can follow how the job is progressing in real time and talk to everyone involved. You can also send messages and share the documents that matter, all from the same place.
