Billing and subscription
In this section, you can manage your subscription. Here you can take out one of the paid options on offer, or cancel your subscription.
The free version
The basic, free version of Rentila lets you manage one property. It is also limited to 2 tenants, 2 tenancy agreements and 4 inventories (including archived ones). The storage space is 50 MB.
This plan is perfect for the small landlord just starting out.
After the account is opened, usage is unlimited for 15 days. This gives the customer time to discover Rentila without limits. After this period, the free account limits are applied. If the user exceeds them, they will have to take out a subscription.
The paid version, Silver and Gold
The Silver account is limited to 5 units. The Gold account has no limits. Storage for the Silver account is 500 MB; for the Gold account it is limited to 5 GB.
The paid version also gives access to additional features such as:
- Bank account synchronisation,
- The option to add users to the account,
- Rentila’s simple e-signature for tenancy agreements and inventories,
- The option to create custom templates for tenancy agreements,
- The option to create custom templates for certain system messages.
We only accept payments by:
- Credit card,
- Direct debit,
- PayPal.
In this section, you can also download your purchase and subscription invoices.

Subscription renewal
Your subscription renews automatically each month or each year.
Here are the possible reasons for your subscription not renewing:
- Your bank declined the direct debit;
- There are insufficient funds in your bank account;
- Your card has expired.
If your renewal payment fails, simply take out a new subscription.
Subscription not renewed
If your subscription is not renewed, your account reverts to the free plan. You do not lose your data, but the account will be locked. After a few months of inactivity (the grace period), the account will be deleted without notice.
How do I update my payment method?
- For credit card subscriptions: To add a new credit card, go to the “Billing and subscription” section, then edit your card. Only one credit card can be kept.
- For PayPal subscriptions: You can manage your linked cards or bank accounts directly from your PayPal account.
- For direct debit subscriptions: It is not possible to update your bank account and direct debit mandate. You need to cancel the subscription. When it expires, you can take out a new subscription.
