{"id":4347,"date":"2023-11-16T17:37:44","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T16:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/?p=4347"},"modified":"2023-11-16T17:38:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T16:38:32","slug":"create-modify-and-delete-an-inventory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/archives\/4347","title":{"rendered":"Create, modify and delete an inventory"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Create an Inventory<\/h3>\n<p>To create an inventory in Rentila, follow these steps: Go to the &#8220;Inventories&#8221; section and then click on the &#8220;New Inventory&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>When creating the inventory, you can enter the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>type<\/strong> (entry or exit inventory),<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>identifier<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>tenancy<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>meter readings, type of heating, keys, and other fittings<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>rooms<\/strong> (you can add multiple rooms, remove or duplicate them),<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>items and equipment in each room<\/strong> (flooring, walls, furniture, appliances, etc.),<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>condition and description<\/strong> of each item,<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>photos<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Modify an Inventory<\/h3>\n<p>If you wish to modify an existing inventory, go to the &#8220;Inventories&#8221; section, click on the &#8220;Edit&#8221; action to the right of the inventory concerned, make the necessary changes, and then click on &#8220;Save&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>Delete an Inventory<\/h3>\n<p>To delete an inventory, go to the &#8220;Inventory&#8221; section, click on the &#8220;Delete&#8221; action to the right of the inventory concerned.<\/p>\n<h3>Inventory Template<\/h3>\n<p>When you create a new inventory in Rentila, the software automatically generates a pre-filled document template.<\/p>\n<p>You can preview this template in the inventory creation and editing form.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, you have the option to download it in Word, PDF, or OpenOffice format from the &#8220;Inventories&#8221; section by accessing the &#8220;Templates&#8221; column on the right.<\/p>\n<p>The landlord and tenant can sign this inventory in two ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Either make a <strong>digital signature<\/strong> in their Rentila space;<\/li>\n<li>Or print it and <strong>sign on paper<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Create an Inventory To create an inventory in Rentila, follow these steps: Go to the &#8220;Inventories&#8221; section and then click on the &#8220;New Inventory&#8221; button.
