{"id":4189,"date":"2023-11-10T12:40:54","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T11:40:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/?p=4189"},"modified":"2023-11-10T12:40:55","modified_gmt":"2023-11-10T11:40:55","slug":"regenerate-rent-payments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/archives\/4189","title":{"rendered":"Regenerate rent payments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you cannot find a rent or a security deposit in the &#8220;Finances&#8221; section, you have the option to recreate them.<\/p>\n<p>Before proceeding, please check the following in the tenancy agreement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the tenancy is indeed active.<\/li>\n<li>Check that the tenancy has not come to an end (verify the end date and ensure that the &#8220;Renewal&#8221; box is ticked).<\/li>\n<li>Carefully examine the payment generation and receipt dates you have indicated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If everything appears in order, go to the &#8220;Tenancies&#8221; section and click on the &#8220;Regenerate payments&#8221; action. The system will then restore the missing payments, whether they are rents or security deposits.<\/p>\n<p>You also have the option to manually add rent from the &#8220;Finances&#8221; section using the &#8220;Add revenue&#8221; option of the type &#8220;Rent&#8221;.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\">\n<p><span class=\"lead\">Good to know<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The action to regenerate rent payments will not modify existing rents. It will only create rents that are missing, in accordance with the schedule planned in the tenancy.
