{"id":3803,"date":"2023-08-03T23:12:33","date_gmt":"2023-08-03T21:12:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/?p=3803"},"modified":"2023-11-12T19:15:06","modified_gmt":"2023-11-12T18:15:06","slug":"certificates-insurance-and-other-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/archives\/3803","title":{"rendered":"Property certificates, insurance, and other supplier contracts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For each property and tenancy agreement, you have the option to enter various certificates and contracts such as insurance policies, electricity suppliers, internet providers, energy performance diagnostics, and other certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the property file, you can enter these details under the &#8220;Certificates and contracts&#8221; tab, which includes supplier contracts and diagnostics related to the property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the tenancy file, you can enter these details under the &#8220;Insurance&#8221; tab, where you record insurance policies taken out by the tenant or for the protection of the tenancy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For each contract and certificate, you can enter the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>type<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>document<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>description<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>date of issue<\/strong> and the <strong>validity date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updating existing certificates and contracts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To update these existing contracts and certificates, simply modify the information already entered in the same place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the property file, modify the property information, then update the details in the &#8220;Certificates and contracts&#8221; tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the tenancy file, modify the tenancy information, then update the details in the &#8220;Insurance&#8221; tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reminders for expired eertificates and contracts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When a certificate&#8217;s expiry date is passed, it is considered expired. A reminder then appears in the landlord&#8217;s account to prompt them to update the information.
