{"id":3109,"date":"2020-11-19T11:47:41","date_gmt":"2020-11-19T10:47:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/?p=3109"},"modified":"2024-02-13T19:58:16","modified_gmt":"2024-02-13T18:58:16","slug":"create-a-task","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/archives\/3109","title":{"rendered":"Create, edit or delete a task"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Create a task<\/h3>\n<p>To add a new task, follow these simple steps: Navigate to the &#8220;Tasks&#8221; section and click on &#8220;New Task&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>For each task, you can enter the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <b>property or building,<\/b><\/li>\n<li>The <b>due date<\/b> (once the date is exceeded, the task becomes <span class=\"label label-warning\">Overdue<\/span>),<\/li>\n<li>The <b>assigned individuals<\/b> to this task, whether it be the landlord or one or more tenants,<\/li>\n<li>The <b>subject,<\/b><\/li>\n<li>The <b>description,<\/b><\/li>\n<li>The <b>associated documents.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The task can be one-off (for a specific date) or recurring (every month or each year on a specific date).<\/p>\n<p>Each person assigned to the task will receive a notification upon its creation and on the due date. It is important to note that only tenants connected and with access to Rentila will receive email notifications.<\/p>\n<p>Tenants connected to Rentila can view and complete their tasks from their account. They also have the ability to create tasks for the landlord.<\/p>\n<p>The landlord, as well as the involved tenants, can add comments and documents to an ongoing task.<\/p>\n<p>All parties involved can mark the task as completed using the appropriate action. Once a task is completed, you have the option to reopen it if necessary.<\/p>\n<h3>Edit a task<\/h3>\n<p>If you wish to edit an existing task, go to the &#8220;Tasks&#8221; section, click on the &#8220;Edit&#8221; action to the right of the concerned task, make the necessary changes, then click on &#8220;Save&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>Delete a task<\/h3>\n<p>To delete a task, navigate to the &#8220;Tasks&#8221; section, click on the &#8220;Delete&#8221; action to the right of the concerned task.<\/p>\n<h3>Track the task<\/h3>\n<p>You have the ability to track the progress of your task in real-time and communicate directly with the participants.
