Tenants who are invited, connected, and have access to Rentila automatically receive an email notification (this option can be enabled\/disabled in the tenancy file) as soon as their rent is generated in the “Finances” section. The email contains a direct link to download the document, the rent due notice or the rent receipt.<\/p>\n
Tenants who are not connected and whom you have not invited do not receive automatic emails from Rentila.<\/p>\n
Once the payment is marked as “Paid” in the “Finances” section, you can manually send the Rent Receipt using the “Send the Rent Receipt” action on the right. The system will resend the notification email with the direct download link of the document.<\/p>\n
When you record a payment using the “Record a Payment” form, you also have the option to tick the box “Send the Rent Receipt”. This will trigger the sending of a notification to the tenant.<\/p>\n
For tenants who do not have an email address or who do not wish to accept the invitation, you can:<\/p>\n
