{"id":147,"date":"2014-05-09T13:57:51","date_gmt":"2014-05-09T11:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/support.rentila.com\/?p=147"},"modified":"2023-12-07T17:48:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-07T16:48:25","slug":"ajouter-une-depense","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rentila.co.uk\/support\/archives\/147","title":{"rendered":"Add an expense"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To add an expense, follow these simple steps: Go to the &#8220;Finances&#8221; section and click on &#8220;New Transaction&#8221;, &#8220;Add Expense&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>For each expense, you can enter the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>property,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>type,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>date,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>payer,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>amount.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to this information, you can also enter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>tenancy contract,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>recurrence<\/strong> (one-time or a recurring expense),<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>VAT amount,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>recoverable amount<\/strong> (for recoverable expenses),<\/li>\n<li>The <b>description,<\/b><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>associated documents.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expenses are summarized into a few main types:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Property management fees,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Recoverable tenancy charges,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Deductible charges,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Credits,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tenant balance refunds,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Security deposit refunds,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Other expenses.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Security Deposit Type Expense<\/h3>\n<p>Once the tenancy is completed and the security deposit is returned, you can record an expense under the heading &#8220;Security Deposit Refund&#8221;. A corresponding document will be created for this line, reflecting the details of the refund.<\/p>\n<p>For both income and expenses of the &#8220;Security Deposit&#8221; type, you have the option to check the &#8220;Amount for reference only&#8221; box.
